Canlis Glass helped to raise funds for the Pratt Fine Arts Center with the donation of a glass blowing party and custom Swell piece for the live auction. The item sold for well above the asking price and brought in more than $6,000 for the school.

Bertschi School
Bertschi School in Seattle celebrated their 30th year and grand opening of the new green built Bertschi Center. As one of the first students of the school, JP spoke at the event and shared his memories of his time there.
Turgeon-Raine Jewellers Installation
Canlis Glass installed a 10 foot tall Bamboo Installation for Turgeon-Raine Jewellers in downtown Seattle. The colorful installation fits beautifully into the already stunning space.
BOKA Kitchen + Bar Opening
The BOKA Kitchen+Bar opening was a success with Canlis Glass art as the focus. In the center of the space is a towering, glowing Bamboo Installation. As you peer around the restaurant, you will see the whimsical Dancing Portraits framed within each booth. Don't forget the oversized, bent wine bottle too!
Hotel 1000 Lobby
The lobby of the Hotel 1000 is stand out, especially with the Canlis Glass Oxblood Bamboo Installation surrounded by the all glass stairway. Installed in June, it was the center of attention of the new hotel.
Donation for Poncho's Invitational Fine Art Auction
Poncho's Invitational Fine Art Auction proved to be a great venue for the Canlis Glass donation of a glass blowing party for 12, coupled with individual hand blown favors and catered lunch (by Boat St. Cafe) in the gallery -- sold for over asking price in the live auction.
Opening Night of Canlis Glass
The opening night of Canlis Glass Gallery & Studio was December 9th, 2005. With over 350 people in attendance the gallery's coming out was great fun and a success for the entrepreneurial couple who pulled all together so beautifully.
Seattle Homes & Lifestyles Feature
Canlis Glass was featured at the Seattle Homes & Lifestyles sponsored ASID showcase house, the Moore Mansion, on Capital Hill, Sept. 10-Oct. 2, 2005. The exposure proved to be fruitful.
Featured Artist at Museum of Glass
JP was the featured artist at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA. He blew glass in the hot shop of the museum for a large crowd. The reception was so great, Canlis Glass was invited back.
Starlight Ball at the Honolulu Academy of Arts
Canlis Glass helped sponsor the Starlight Ball at the Honolulu Academy of Arts in January 2004. The donation of a day of glassblowing lessons by JP Canlis and Leigh's work as the Auction Chair helped contribute to the $10,000 raised that night.
